The PetRoomba concept was developed as an investigation on how to make household pets better friends, with the ever so intruding robot vacuum cleaners. Via an initial prototype, we tested how basic interaction via fur, ears and a tail could potentially ease the tension between pets and vacuum cleaners.
Our academic reflections on the lack of interaction between pet and machine were presented at the SIDeR 2016 student conference in Malmö.
